Police reported that this morning, Sunday, June 12, at about 8:31 a.m., the Oswego Police Department responded to the area of West Sixth Street at Niagara Street for a reported motor vehicle crash, which later resulted in the death of one juvenile.

Firefighters Plant Tree In Memory Of Fallen Brother

The Oswego Firefighters Association recently planted a tree at Elim Grace Church in memory of their fallen brother Scott Davis. Elim Grace donated food and the use of its rectory during Scott’s service last year.

Oswego Lights Up For The Holidays

Nathan Wallace thanks Santa Claus for the candy cane.

Hundreds brave the chilly temperatures and brisk winds for the annual ceremony. The city’s holiday tree was lit Thursday night in Civic Plaza. The winners of the scholastic holiday poem contest were announced. And, Santa greeted scores of youngsters eager to tell him their Christmas wish lists.
