The Fulton City School District recently welcomed 25 new staff members who are eager for the 2017-18 school year to begin. During a recent two-day new staff orientation, the group was introduced to district and building administrators, with a focus on personnel, benefits, literacy and UPK, instructional coaching, technology and network administration, student support and instructional support.

As soon as the “Steel Palace” its doors on Oswego Speedway’s 2017 season, it began to morph into the “Clay Palace.” DIRT Week is scheduled for October 1- 8 and the track is nearly ready, according to Jeff Hachmann, director of events. On September 11, the New York State Police arrested Michael P. Mulcahy III, 30, from Hastings. Mulcahy is accused of holding the female to the ground, striking her several times with a belt, and threatening to kill her with a knife. He is also accused of forcing the woman to have sexual intercourse.
