According to the Oswego County Health Department, as of 3 p.m., there have been 25 additional cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) since yesterday.

Officials from Oswego City School District announced today that all schools will be closed for in-person and remote learning this coming Friday, March 12 due to anticipated staffing shortages from the second round of a COVID-19 vaccine.

COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Expanded To Include New Yorkers 60+, Additional Public Facing Essential Workers
Beginning March 10, all New Yorkers 60 years of age and older will be eligible to receive the vaccine, while public facing essential workers from governmental and nonprofit entities will be eligible beginning March 17. This expansion also includes public-facing essential building services workers.
