Mayor Billy Barlow announced today the City of Oswego will host its annual September 11 Ceremony on September 11, 2023. Beginning at 6:30 a.m., a Sunrise Run and Silent Procession will take place along East Bridge Street from East Fourth Street to the Oswego Police Department on West Second Street.

Assembly Republicans Join Queens Officials To Reinforce Calls For Action On Migrant Crisis

Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski) was joined by New York City Councilwoman Vickie Paladino and members of the Assembly Republican Conference to call on Gov. Kathy Hochul to convene a special session of the Legislature to address the ongoing migrant crisis. The officials were joined by local leaders in College Point, Queens at the former St. Agnes Academic High School, a former Catholic high school that has been converted into a shelter for illegal migrants.
