Today, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), alongside Congresswoman Cori Bush (D-MO), introduced the ERA Now resolution, which directs the Archivist of the United States, Colleen Shogan, to affirm the ERA as the 28th Amendment of the United States Constitution, certify the state ratifications, and publish it in the Federal Register.

Today, Senator John W. Mannion (D-Syracuse) announced his campaign for Congress against Rep. Brandon Williams in New York’s 22nd Congressional District. Mannion officially launched his campaign at Emerald Cocktail Kitchen, a small business in Syracuse, surrounded by dozens of supporters and family members. Mannion will be meeting with press and supporters in Utica tomorrow.

Volunteers Needed For Fun, Exciting Opportunities To Help Harborfest 2023
Harborfest 2023 is just weeks away and a limited number of volunteer positions to help the area’s biggest and best festival are still available. Most positions require small investments of time and provide experience working in the festivals and events industry. Mayor Barlow Announces 2023 “Rock the Docks” Concert Series Lineup
Mayor Billy Barlow announced today the lineup for the third year of the “Rock the Docks” concert series. “Rock the Docks” will kick off on August 5 with local musician Dave Hawthorne. The concert series is designed to entertain docked boaters and tenants of Wright’s Landing with the permanent stage positioned to provide prime viewing and listening by boats in the marina area and harbor. Attendees from land may also use a small seating area available in the west end parking lot. Concerts are free to attend and will run from 6:00pm to 9:00 p.m.
