Several Fulton City School District students were recently honored during the inaugural New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Leadership Awards Program because they have exemplified leadership, strength and good character throughout the 2018-2019 school year.

Families flocked to Lanigan Elementary School’s annual Muffins with Mom event to celebrate all the mother figures who have helped and supported Lanigan students throughout the school year and beyond.

Students of all ages participated in a Battle of the Bands and received leadership awards on May 10, in an assembly held at Granby Elementary School.

The much-anticipated sixth annual fabric sale fundraiser to support the Oswego County 4-H Program, part of Cornell Cooperative Extension, will be held on July 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Believer’s Chapel located at 5375 State Route 3, Mexico.

The Oswego City School District will add visual cues to the main entrances of each building to better assist those who are hearing impaired.

Registration is now open for the annual community-wide color run, hosted by the Mexico Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTA) to help fund-raise for their school.
