The museum complex consists of a main building of exhibits highlighting more than 400 years of maritime history, the National Historic Landmark World War II Tug the “LT-5,” New York State Derrick Boat 8 from the Canal System, locally built schooner Ontario and Eleanor D, the last US commercial fishing vessel to work Lake Ontario.
The Oswego County Department of Social Services will sponsor an informational meeting from 9 to 11 a.m. Oct. 12, at the Department of Social Services, 100 Spring St., Mexico, for people who are interested in becoming foster or adoptive parents. Oswego County also needs Hispanic foster parents.

One day after the primary election the City of Fulton Republican Committee welcomed 12 new members to the committee. There was also an immediate changing of the guard and new officers were elected to head up the committee.
