Boating Advisory For Onondaga County Waterways Including NYS Canal System  

The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is issuing a Boating Advisory due to hazardous waters due to recent heavy rainfall and flood conditions.  The Sheriff’s Office is urging boaters to use caution while everything is being assessed.  There are very strong currents, lots of debris and water levels are still rising.

Oswego County Sheriff’s Office Announces Installation Of New Body Scanner Equipment At Corrections

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the installation of a new piece of equipment called the TEK84-Intercept Body Scanner. The body scanner is located in the Corrections Division at the Public Safety Building.  This equipment detects both metallic and nonmetallic threats, including weapons, drugs, cell phones and other contraband.
