Vaccines have been greatly successful in reducing and even wiping out diseases such as chicken pox, measles, mumps, polio and many more. Another safe and effective vaccine is the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. The HPV vaccine prevents cancer and is recommended for children beginning at age 9. Yet, misinformation and a lack of understanding about its benefits discourage parents from getting their children this lifesaving vaccine.

Today’s national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.60, three cents higher than last Monday. One year ago, the price was $4.37.
