Peter Franco has announced his candidacy for Alderman of Fulton’s Third Ward. He is a Democrat and has been endorsed by the Fulton Democratic Committee.
Peter is a retired police officer from the Fulton Police Department. He retired in 2005 after serving for 27 years. Over the last eight years of his career, he served as Deputy Chief of Police.
Oswego Health’s Home Health Aide program graduated seven students following its 75-hour August class.
At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Mike Schroeder introduced Jerrica Dishaw, a G. Ray Bodley high school student who attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) program in Cazenovia this past July.

Ray Bodley High School Sophomore who was selected to participate in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) held this year at Cazenovia College on July 10 – 12.  The RYLA program, a 3-day camp organized by District 7150 Rotarians, enables young people to learn and develop leadership and communication skills while having fun and making new friends. Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 AM at Fulton’s Riverside Inn.

Almost across the board, state tests find Fulton’s 3rd graders performing at lower levels than students in the higher elementary grades.
