Great Pumpkins Abound In Port City

This year’s winner was Matt VerSchneider with a 1,283-pound entry. It would have even bested last year’s winner (Alan Nesbitt’s 1,229.5-pounder). In second place was Andy Wolf (1,274 pounds, followed by Walter Merriam (1,241.5) and Nesbitt (1,193.5). This year saw dozens of entries with seven topping the 1,000-pound plateau.

Smart Group Recognizes Oswego

<p>The Great Lakes Commission and NOAA Coastal Services Center will send a team to Oswego to develop case study examples of smart growth in the Great Lakes region.</p>
