The annual Hollis Winter Festival is set for Tuesday. The area received another four inches of snow today (Feb. 15) to ensure the sledding, snowshoeing and other outdoor activities all go smoothly.
The temperature was just 1.4 degrees higher than average. The precipitation was 0.38-inch below normal and the snowfall was 0.08-inch above average.
The recent warm spell has eaten away much of this winter’s snowfall. With the annual Warm Up Oswego Festival on the horizon, some light snow will probably fall – but daily highs are forecast to linger in the mid-30s.
