Since 2017, Barb and John Sharkey III have supported Fulton Block Builder (FBB)grass-roots revitalization project. The Sharkey’s were impressed to learn that there has been over three million dollars invested by residents since FBB began six years ago.

Fulton Block Builders Announce Start Of 2023 Fundraising Campaign
The Fulton Block Builder (FBB) fundraising committee has announced the start of its 2023 Fundraising Campaign. Once again, the Richard S. Shineman Foundation has approved matching funds for FBB in the spring of 2023 following completion of the Campaign. In order to secure the entire Shineman award, FBB will strive to raise $50,000 by April 30,2023.

In 2022, Dan Farfaglia, Fulton’s First Ward Councilman, and Carolyn Holland, First Ward resident, began organizing their neighbors to start a neighborhood watch program. On January 21, they invited Linda Eagan, Fulton Block Builders (FBB) founder, to the meeting at Mimi’s Diner.
