In one of the more unique “ribbon cutting” ceremonies, two huge dump trucks today (Sept. 20) poured tons of clay on the front stretch of the Oswego Speedway. Even though the clay hadn’t been placed on the front stretch until today’s official “dumping of the clay,” the remainder of the track had its first layers of the new surface laid down recently; while outside the track work continues on new camping areas.

Roy Bresnahan Pulls off Huge Win Running His GM CT 525 Spec Engine Taking Top Honors In The Big Block Modifieds At Fulton Speedway
Bresnahan took the lead at the drop of the green in the 35 lap Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified feature and drove a flawless race out distancing Jimmy Phelps to the checkers. Not only was it Bresnahan’s first win in the division, but it was the first win for the GM CT 525 Spec engine against the Big Block Modifieds.
Add Another to the List: Steve Kinser Wins for First time at Fulton Speedway
Kinser had competed at the high-banked 3/8-mile just once in his career prior to this season, finishing second in 2005. He bettered that one spot in the World of Outlaws return to Fulton Speedway on Tuesday night, picking up the win, which was his seventh of the season.

Blaney, the 1995 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Champion is no stranger to Fulton Speedway as he won an All Star Circuit of Champions race at the track in 1987.

On a night honoring the Fink Family, Willy Decker out of Vernon, NY took advantage of a front row starting spot to lead from green to checker in the 35 lap DIRTcar Big Block Modified Feature.
