Marching Bucs End Season On High Score

<p>The Oswego High School Marching Bucs are bound for James Madison University for the “Parade of Champions.” Oswego has just one more show remaining this season with the National Division state finals in the Carrier Dome on Nov. 1.</p>

The Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers turned in one of their best performances of the season Sunday night as the best bands in the state competed one last time.



Marching Bucs March Home With Title From James Madison U. Competition

Oswego High School’s marching band stormed into Virginia for the weekend and came home with top prize. The Marching Buccaneers scored 82.20 to take first place among 9 schools at the James Madison University Parade of Champions.

Due to very poor weather conditions today the Pageant of Champions “Encore” performance by the Marching Buccaneers is being rescheduled to Oct. 14 at 8:30 p.m. on Joe Wilber Field.

Oswego’s Marching Buccaneers posted their best score of the field band season Saturday night at West Genesee.

The Bucs posted a score of 83.30 for its show, called “The Search”.
