Firefighters Plan Golf Event To Benefit Jerry’s Kids
The Oswego Firefighters Association is hosting a golf tournament to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. It’s being planned for Sept. 28 at Tamarack Golf Club.

Oswego Business Plans Teen Events
Owner of Red Planet wants to hold events from 5-9 p.m. Thursdays. The activities, targeting teen-agers, would include live bands. The full council will consider the proposal Monday night. City officials believe it could alleviate the problems at the farmers’ market caused by some teen-agers.

Fulton Secures Additional Small Cities Funding
The city of Fulton learned this week that it was successful, once again, in its efforts to secure funding through the state’s Community Development Block Grant program. The $650,000 in new funding will focus on the Erie/Seneca Street revitalization project in the city’s Sixth Ward.
