City of Fulton news:

  • The Fulton City School District Board of Education met in person, Tuesday, March 8. During the meeting, the board discussed a number of topics, including the presentation of mid-year data regarding students’ well-being and achievements. Full story here.
  • On March 2, 2022, State Police in Fulton arrested 45-year-old Carrie J. Lisi from Fulton, New York, for Grand Larceny 2nd degree, a class “C” felony. Lisi was arrested following an investigation into stolen Instant Scratch-Off New York State Lottery tickets from the Byrne Dairy at 226 County Route 57 in Phoenix, NY.   • Residents of Oswego gathered Saturday, March 5, to observe the St. Patrick’s Day parade march through the city’s downtown. View video and photo gallery here.
  • Oswego Firefighters were alerted to a building fire on Maple Street, Monday evening, just after 8:30 p.m. Full story here.
  • On Monday, March 7, 2022, Douglas S. Waterbury, age 60, of Oswego was arrested by the Oswego City Police Department for two counts of Criminal Contempt in the second degree. Full story here.
  • On Wednesday, March 9, city officials were notified by NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) of a spill in the Oswego Harbor that was believed to be coming from Oswego Harbor Generating Station. Full story here.
