The Oswego City Police Department has made another arrest as a result of the search warrant executed March 4 at 8 Niagara St., which also included “The Pet Store,” 388 W. First St. On March 21, at 1:15 p.m., James W. Libbey-Stone, 23, of 34 E. Albany St., Oswego, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony.
As a result of execution of search warrants, evidence was seized from two locations consisting of nearly $12,000 in cash, approximately 1.5 pounds of marijuana, numerous prescription narcotics and numerous items of paraphernalia commonly used in the production and sale of illegal drugs.
Mark Grandazzo, of 405 Oneida St., Fulton, was arrested on March 11 at approximately 1:15 p.m., following an on-going drug investigation by the City of Fulton Police Department. Chrystal Recore, also residing at 405 Oneida St., was arrested during the execution of the search warrant. Police say she did knowingly conduct and maintain her residence where persons came and gathered for the purpose of engaging in the unlawful sale of controlled substances.
On June 4, at about 6:13 p.m. Oswego Police executed a search warrant at 91 E. Sixth St., Lower-Rear Apartment. During the search, police discovered approximately 4.7 grams of cocaine (valued at approximately $300) and 42 grams of marijuana (valued at approximately $420). The resident is now facing charges. Police say 19-year-old Daishaun J. McMullin, of Syracuse, allegedly had approximately 50 pieces of crack cocaine, which appeared to be packaged for individual sale.
At approximately 9:10 a.m. on March 15, Oswego City Police arrested Patrick M. Watts, 62, of 137 E. Tenth St. He was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
