OHS’ Parker Bound For NYS Track & Field Championships
- Oswego senior track standout Eliza Parker
Eliza Parker is bound for the New York State Track and Field Championships once again as she qualified for the 100 hurdle competition. Parker shattered her previous best in the 100 meter hurdles with an outstanding time of 15.37 to advance to the state finals. She also earned a personal best in the 400 meter hurdles, with a fine time of 1:06.02, to place second, just missing the state cut time. Meanwhile, the boys’ varsity track and field team wound down the year and the boys’ modified lacrosse team finished a perfect season 10-0.

Ernie Watts Featured In OHS ‘Evening Of Big Band Jazz’
It will be another “Evening of Big Band Jazz†when the Oswego High and Oswego Middle School Jazz ensembles take the stage at the OHS theatre Friday at 7 p.m. Special guest artist saxophonist Ernie Watts will join the talented Oswego musicians for an evening of outstanding music.

Midsummer Night’s Dream At OHS This Weekend
The Oswego High School Drama Club’s spring show is an amusing and jazzy rendition of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Show dates are this Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Faust Theatre at Oswego High School.
