Police say that at about 7:00 p.m. Saturday night, Katie D. Herchberger, 25, of 362 County Route 30, Williamstown was driving a horse and buggy along County Route 30 when the buggy’s left wheel was hit by a vehicle. The buggy ran off the road and hit a tree. The car drove off.
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Department reports that David R. Burger, 22, of 80 Sixth Avenue, Oswego, appeared to be speeding on Route 104 near the Route 34 intersection in Hannibal. The department says a deputy tried to pull Burger’s car over, using the police car’s lights and siren, near the Stock Rd. intersection. […]
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, along with members of the US Border Patrol, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Fulton Police Department, and the Oswego Police Department, seized over 300 marijuana plants in Hannibal, Oswego town and Scriba in a joint eradication effort. The Oswego County Sheriff’s Department charged William J. Murray, 51, of 285 Route 48, Fulton with petit larceny and making a false written statement. He was ticketed and released on Saturday afternoon. 
Sheriff’s Deputies on Friday arrested Walter C. Belden, 28, of 3839 Port St., Pulaski. He is charged with first degree rape, first degree criminal sexual act, sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. All but the endangering charge are felonies. 
Golf is causing more problems than usual for two Pulaski men. They’ve been charged with stealing sprinkler heads from a golf course, and one of the men’s accused of stealing two golf carts from a local RV park.
