Thanks to the support of Entergy’s James A. FitzPatrick Plant, the United Way’s Success By 6 Program has ordered a second printing of its popular publication, Children Do Come With Directions, A Guide for Parents.

In an effort to ensure every child is prepared for school, the United Way of Greater Oswego County held its annual Success By 6 “Stuff a Bus†campaign at nine different bus locations around the county. The school supplies will now be divided among the nine districts in the coming days.
Kinney Drug stores in Fulton, Pulaski and Mexico will serve as three of the nine official collection sites for the United Way’s annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign.
With the United Way’s annual Stuff-a-Bus event only days away, committee members are busy working with sponsors and collection sites to make sure everything is in place for the Aug. 13 collection date.
While the first day of school is still more than a month away, the United Way is already planning for the 2010 / 2011 school year. The agency’s annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign is now under way.
A field of 52 teams took to the links for a day of golf and fun in the 15th annual United Way Golf Tournament held July 9 at the Greenview Country Club in West Monroe.
The United Way of Oswego County extends a sincere thank you to the many volunteers and sponsors whose commitment to the United Way 2010 Golf Classic again made the event an outstanding success.
