Once again the Oswego golf team gained a win while the cross country team had some solid individual performances and other teams were also in action recently.
An eighth grade golfer paced the Oswego High School golf team to victory while the varsity soccer teams played well in victories. Meanwhile, the swimmers were solid in their most recent meet and the girls’ volleyball team continues to win.
Oswego swimmers ended a long losing streak against C-NS while the girls volleyball teams remained unbeaten. Runners and boys volleyball performed solidly in the latest Oswego High School sports results.
The first Scott Davis Memorial Volleyball Tournament will be held on Sept. 18 at the outdoor volleyball court at Cheap Seats in Oswego.
The Oswego volleyball teams upended their opponents recently as both the boys and girls won 3-0 over Fayetteville-Manlius.
The Oswego Lady Bucs volleyball team started the defense of their league title with a 25-12, 25-8, 25-14 win over Auburn. The girls are 1-0 in the league play and 1-0 overall.

The team from Burritt Motors in Oswego was crowned champions of the first-ever Catholic Charities of Oswego County Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament.
Mary-Margaret Pezzella-Pekow presented Jim Hoefer with $500 for winning the 50 / 50 drawing held during Catholic Charities’ Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament.
