One Team’s Hockey Season Ends, Another’s Continues
The Oswego High School hockey season continues for the boys, but ended for the girls. The wrestlers and basketball players were in action recently also.

The Oswego High School hockey season continues for the boys, but ended for the girls. The wrestlers and basketball players were in action recently also.
Oswego varsity boys’ basketball and hockey were successful in recent games. The Oswego varsity boys’ basketball team defeated the home standing Baldwinsville Bees on Wednesday night, 77-66. The visiting Bucs played their best half of basketball to begin the game.

Devyn Hutcheson scored a hat trick to lead the Lady Bucs to the Final Four while the boys’ hockey team and bowlers were successful. Her first goal was assisted by Karissa Favata and Caitlin Friel while the other two were outstanding individual efforts.
Oswego and West Genesee boys’ basketball teams were quite a distance apart in league standings. But, it didn’t matter to the Bucs on Tuesday night as they traveled to the Wildcat den. The Bucs surprised the home team with a 54-51 victory.

Basketball teams and swimming team have been in action recently while Whitney Ford continues to excel indoors on the track and the wrestling team continues to battle.
The bowling team, boys’ hockey and girls’ basketball teams were all in action on Tuesday. They all squared off against some pretty tough foes.
The Oswego indoor track teams did quite well in the most recent event while the boys’ hockey team won its sixth straight, the girls’ hockey team split while the wrestlers performed well at the Hilton Tournament.

Recent sports action saw the Oswego hockey team score nail-biting victories while the cagers drew a tough foe in Cicero-North Syracuse.
The bowling team rolled to victory while the varsity basketball teams battled Liverpool and the jayvee girls’ basketball squad chalked up its fifth win of the year. Meanwhile, the girls’ hockey team lost.
It wasn’t exactly a holiday for Oswego High School athletes as the indoor track teams, girls’ basketball, boys’ ice hockey and bowlers were all in action recently.
