Oswego Player, Inc Announce 2023 Scholarship Winners

Every year, the Oswego Players, Inc. awards scholarships to two high school seniors who plan on continuing their education. The awards are dedicated after two members who hold a special place in Oswego Players rich 85-year history, Lawrence Rose and Marion Greene. They were both avid Oswego Players’ members and supporters of the arts. Each year, the Players identify two graduating seniors who exemplify the qualities held dear by both former members of the theater group.

Oswego County SUNY Potsdam Athletes Named To SUNYAC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll For 2022-23 Season

The following local residents were among the 123 SUNY Potsdam student-athletes to earn a spot on the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll for the 2022-23 school year, the conference announced this morning. Athletes named to the honor roll had a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA for the year.

Golden Sun Bus Service Cites Urgent Need For Drivers, Trainees

Labor shortages are plaguing the transportation industry nationwide, which is disrupting one of our economy’s most critical support systems. According to Golden Sun Bus Service President (GSBS) Patrick Kinane, as part of this shortfall, GSBS urgently needs to hire at least six new drivers or trainees by mid-July.
