OHS Sports Team Have Tough Time

It was a relatively quiet weekend for Oswego athletes as the hockey team won a rescheduled Sunday afternoon game against Whitesboro and the indoor track team was in action
The Oswego indoor track teams did quite well in the most recent event while the boys’ hockey team won its sixth straight, the girls’ hockey team split while the wrestlers performed well at the Hilton Tournament.

Recent sports action saw the Oswego hockey team score nail-biting victories while the cagers drew a tough foe in Cicero-North Syracuse.
Swimmers and hockey teams were successful this week in picking up victories while the wrestling team had a tough match against its opponent.
The bowling team rolled to victory while the varsity basketball teams battled Liverpool and the jayvee girls’ basketball squad chalked up its fifth win of the year. Meanwhile, the girls’ hockey team lost.
It wasn’t exactly a holiday for Oswego High School athletes as the indoor track teams, girls’ basketball, boys’ ice hockey and bowlers were all in action recently.
Resource Development Director for the United Way of Greater Oswego County, Lois Luber accepted a donation of non-perishable food items from members of the SUNY Oswego men’s and women’s ice hockey teams.
The swimmers gained a solid win while the girls’ ice hockey team started the season 2-0. Meanwhile, the boys’ basketball team nearly ended Baldwinsville’s winning streak.
Oswego Minor Hockey Association Tyke members are doing their part to make the holiday season a little brighter for those in need by supporting Catholic Charities’ Let’s Give For A Kid program.
