AAA Gas Prices Report August 23, 2021: Gas Prices Down Slightly, National Average Drops Three Cents

Today’s national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.16, down three cents from last week. One year ago, the price was $2.19. The New York State average is $3.22 – no change from last week. A year ago, the NYS average was $2.25.
